Hello there, peeps..

Wow, where to begin.. It's been several months now since we dissappeared, and a lot has happened..

I didn't want to do anything anymore until I got a proper camera.. Which I did eventually, my very first DLSR, a beautiful gorgeous Sony Alpha300.. I'm so in love with it! So we waited for a while to make some new stuff and come back with a bang Yeah, I'm not into that false modesty at all

Also, we participated in the second Zagreb Photomarathon, and it was just an awful lot of fun, but who would have thought it would be so much exhausting at the same time?! Well anyways, we came out with some great photos from the contest, and we don't regret the 12 hours spent for a second

This summer (besides celebrating two wonderful years together ) we watched a bunch of movies, as always.. Have you seen Sweeney Todd?? Isn't it just the most perfect movie ever? I've seen it 5 times so far, and don't intend to stop for some time.. The songs are simply magnificent and I'm having trouble with getting them out of my head.. The only fault of the movie (in my opinion) is going overboard with the slaughterings and blood.. But if you just hide your head behind a pillow like I always do, it can be neglected



But enough of this small talk.. Our inbox has 4 figures! Gotta run.. There's a lot to make up for..

ever since i uploaded my last series of photos, i've been getting so many faves and comments that i just haven't had the time to thank everyone and go through your galleries. so i would like to apologise to anyone whom i hadn't thanked, and express my deepest gratitude to all the people who gave a contribution. i sincerely am thankful. having said that, i'm now uploading a new photo from the "a path through the fog" series. hope you like it as much as you did the last one.

merry christmas, happy new year and happy valentine's day..
that's how long we've been absent..

2007 flew by too fast.. and it's already the end of february.. soon we'll be making plans for this summer and yet another year will pass.. what a life, huh? :/

i deeply apologise for not going through your galleries and not faving as i used to, but to tell you the truth, i haven't been quite in the mood for the last couple of months.. since i was eagerly waiting for christmas and a new camera, but santa never showed up.. so all my photographic tendencies just died along with my dissapointment.. and that's really a pitty, since our subscription is just going to waste..

but santa promised he'll come and visit me earlier this year and bring me a brand new DSLR camera for my birthday.. so until then, i'll just have to concentrate on my life in general.. which is a drag, but what can you do..


on the other hand, my love made some amazing photos couple of months ago which we constantly delayed uploading, since shimmy couldn't make up his mind among dozens of fantastic shots.. finally, five spectacular scenes prevailed, but according to him, this is just the beginning of this series..

we hope you'll enjoy them, and stick around till this summer when hopefully our work will become more professional..

anyways.. it's been five full months since our last journal..
where did the time go?
this summer was .. well, interesting, if nothing else
and full of looove
i really do hope autumn will be as good, since i've had a bit of a discouraging start.. but things are starting to improve..

as for the lack of submissions, we hadn't had that much time nor the will for photography.. which i believe shall soon change, since i got my hands on a 6mp camera (which is certainly better than my last ).. and i am expecting to get for my birthday/christmas/st.patrick's day/whatever this beauty: [link]

and our inbox has almost reached two thousand deviantions
but i'm trying to catch up..
there are a lot of faves coming your way



btw.. i never realised until recently how many people around me have a dA account..
it's quite amusing actually..
